ICAEW, History of
Since its founding in 1880, the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) has over 150,000 members in more than 160 countries. It is one of the most prestigious accountancy bodies in the world.
ICAEW In Pakistan
After the memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed between ICAP and ICAEW, ICAP members are exempted from the professional stage and are eligible to take 3 Advanced Stage Exams in Pakistan (and Structured Training in Ethics) to become an ICAEW member and gain International Recognition. At Business Institute, the student shall be facilitated and guided in all aspects of his/her training and education.
ACA at Business Institute (BICAF)
ACCA members, affiliates and other students eligible for Professional stage exemptions (or taking the Professional Stage Exams in exam centers outside Pakistan) are eligible to sit for Advanced Stage Exams in Pakistan. However there are additional requirements of 2-5 years Training contract, Technical Work Experience (TWE), Initial Professional Development (IPD) and Structured Training in Ethics (STE). At Business Institute, the student shall be facilitated and guided in all aspects of his/her training and education.

Business Institute (BICAF) offers classes for ACA Program of ICAEW in Pakistan for both Advanced and Professional Stages exams under the supervision of England and Wales Qualified Chartered Accountants (ICAEW). The ACA - ICAEW Classes are held in Lahore and will soon be started in other cities. The "Department of Industrial Development and Growth" of the Business Institute also trains ICAEW internees working in different industries in Pakistan and helps students getting an ICAEW training contract in Pakistan.
